Much better on the empty-stomach palette. The notes on this wine that came with the glass are, "Lemon and Sea Brine. Bright aromas are Meyer lemon zest, Bartlett pear, nectarine, fresh dough and sea brine lead to a crisp, citrusy palate of lemon, white grapefruit, and minerals in this refreshing white from the south of France." I guess I wanted a refreshing glass. — 7 years ago
After an onslaught of young Bordeaux this was like a hot shower for the palate. Soft but not at all weak, the concentrated black fruit and dried fig notes are harmoniously balanced by acid. Long finish. — 7 years ago
After a couple of years of careful cellaring, this beauty was opened. My god, the smell... This is my most perfumed wine. — 8 years ago
silky, smooth and a little sweet but surprisingly good since I typically prefer something more bold and dry — 8 years ago
I love a tasty $10. This is definitely one. As usual there's value in the Rhone. Went wonderfully with my veggie southwestern hash, which is no surprise, since most Rhones hold up to hearty meals. Good fruit, nice body, a little spicy, not overly complex. — 9 years ago
Very bold and spicy on the nose. With the first taste it's very smooth, almost light bodied, with notes of blackberry, dark bing cherries and plum then it develops into a spicy / ashy medium bodied red blend. Excellent wine from France! Made with Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir, and Carignan. — 9 years ago
Take a bite of this radish! — 9 years ago
What can I say. I love Grenache.medium body. Great balance and acidity. A good wine. — 10 years ago
2009 Vintage. Clear medium golden colour kind of hints the complexity it has in store. Clean to the nose with pronounced floral and lychee aroma. Medium sweetness with medium plus acidity, it is quite full bodied with some more floral, lychee, and green fruit aroma. Takes them into the finish and leaves a slight bitterness. Quite a drink that tells you a beautiful story — 10 years ago
The reviews on this are fascinating! After having the cakebread a few nights ago it is amazing how close these wines are. This is beautiful cherry and raspberry fruit with a hint of pepper and good tannin. I’m guessing that provenance of this wine is the key to difference of reviews or garagiste truly received something different in the bottle. Great qpr from my tasting. — 6 years ago
Earthy, leather, bright raspberry with medium tannins. Very well balanced red. Can taste the oak a bit gives a bourbon carmelized taste — 7 years ago
Still young, floral, a bit minty, and some spicy notes on the finish. Nice structure - good balance between fruity and savory. Not particularly complex but very well done and a nice value. — 7 years ago
Both raspberry and blackberry in the nose. Nice fruit and light tannin. — 8 years ago
Dark. Full bodied and a touch of pepper — 9 years ago
Lots of depth, some savory notes. Higher alcohol than some roses. Not a lot of fruit but some. — 9 years ago
Great 2013 Savignon Blanc from France; its mineral and fruity taste are awesome. Peach accent well defined!! — 9 years ago

Very tasty fruit forward, light red wine for the summer. I am a huge fan of Franc and this reminded me of that fact. — 7 years ago
Use to crush thru this. Was 9.99 bevmo 2nd one a nickel. Up to $19.99 now. Really good. For the price. — 7 years ago
Dense and rich, yet highly drinkable. Layered, with a core of ripe black & blueberries, with some liquorice and garrigue in the finish. Fine grained tannins and good balance. Impressive. — 7 years ago
A dialed back Viogner - perfect for pairing with Singapore Noodles. — 8 years ago
Smooth and fruity with a hint of pepper. Very nice — 9 years ago
This was a delightful red blend that was soft, approachable and delicious. From a small, artisanal family winery. — 9 years ago
Spicy touch to your larynx. Almost feels like you're swallowing a spoonful of frosted flakes but forgot to chew them all so they're getting lodged in your throat. Tannins are present and boisterous. Acidity could be a little higher but I'll respectively give this a medium plus rating. Should be accompanied by a healthy amount of horse meat marinated in calf fat. High quality cork. — 10 years ago

Earthy and barnyardy yet still effervescent. A winner. — 6 years ago
