2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and after 30 mins. Reticent nose. Medium-heavy body. Massive flavors and structure. Wouldn’t open it any time soon. Phenomenal now but so so intense. Medium Ruby color with fragrant berry fruit, spice and earthy floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and cedar with notes of pepper, tangy mouthfeel. Fine tannins, long savory finish ending with a mushroom, citrus and earthy mineral character. Nice! — 9 months ago
