Delicious, light, crisp & refreshing Sauvignon blanc — 11 years ago
At first I thought this was too mild. But after it was open about 30 minutes, the fruity flavors really came out. — 8 years ago
Randomly tried it but I like it! — 9 years ago
Beautiful bloody and transparent shade of red. The aroma reminds me of dry prune or dry ripe/resinated black grape. On the palate, the wine is easy drinking, medium astringency, with balanced red cherry, earthy quality, and spices. Went surprisingly well with our sushi omakase! — 9 years ago
Found out the bun Rachel has been cooking is going to be a boy- so we popped the campest drink we could find in his honour. 8.5% Chenin. Fizz & a heavy touch of residual sugar. Complete with sassy leopard print top. Way the dude makes this seems to be the strangest method of making a naturally sparkling bottle- but it's worked. And we're happy. — 10 years ago
A friend shared the 2011 bottle. It was delicious. A nice full body with a good amount of tannins, but pretty smooth. I noticed some berry notes. — 10 years ago
Cherry, Raspberry, wet leaves — 10 years ago
Aavery nice everyday wine at this price point. Fruity, not particularly complex. Bright fruit, mostly sour cherry and cranberry, but with an overriding sweetness, so no puckering. — 11 years ago
This was a very well-balanced deep wine. Would definitely buy it again. Karina loved it. — 11 years ago
3 more bottles of the 2009 Sonoma Coast Vineyards Balistreri Vyd Pinot Noir left in my cellar. Need to save them to share with special friends. — 12 years ago

On the nose, still showing dark currants but, the fruits are starting to shine. Creamy fruits of; black plum, plum, blackberries, dark cherries, poached strawberries, dark chocolate, mocha bar, vanilla, cinnamon, light clove, soft dark spice, limestone minerals, crush dry rock powder, sweet tarry notes, expression roast with dark dry & fresh floral bouquet.
The palate is much rounder & integrated from a year ago. The tannins are powdery & dusty. The body is still very full. The structure, tension, length and balance are knitting together nicely. Creamy fruits of; black plum, plum, blackberries, dark cherries, poached strawberries, dark chocolate, mocha bar, vanilla, cinnamon, light clove, soft dark spice, limestone minerals, crush dry rock powder, dry stones, dry stems, sweet tarry notes, expression roast with dark dry & fresh floral bouquet. The acidity is lively. The finish is beautiful but still more earth & spice dominated than fruit. Yet, it is evolving to being more even. It’s just starting to evolve into the wine I thought it will become with a beautiful finish that goes on and on.
Photos of, more guests at the party enjoying themselves, chicken sliders with aioli, view of the Estate vines and Napa Valley floor from their house and the awesome Latin ensemble that performed. — 7 years ago
