A gorgeous 10 year-old Virginia dessert wine made from 100% Vidal, harvested late and then pressed after being frozen to replicate the ice wine process.
A pure and very present nose of ripe and sweet peach, nectarine and tangerine, with a dose of honey, savory and a hint of O2. The palate adds a taught salty note and a more apparent trace of O2.
Also similar to a Sauternes but fresher, it goes especially well with our apple tart dessert.

Really nice ice wine, need to buy more bottles. Not too sweet and pairs well with an apple-based dessert. — 10 years ago
A little goes a loooong way. Worth the $3 tasting split between three (trust me, you'll want to split the tasting) but not worth the $50 asking price for a 375 ml bottle in my opinion. But if you like ice wine, go for it! — 10 years ago
Hopkins ice wine 2011 and where did the 02 selbach oster picture and rating go? — 10 years ago

Closest to Ice Wine I've found in VA. Close to the goodness of the fingers lakes — 10 years ago
Sweet and refreshing but high acidity for my liking. The color is beautiful shiny gold. The nose is boozy. For this price I would rather buy some Canadian ice wine which is far more delicious and low in alcohol. Somewhat disappointed. Maybe my expectations were set higher reading about all the hype. I did a side by side comparison with 2013 Jackson-Triggs Vidal ice wine and the ice wine wins by a huge margin. — 10 years ago
My least favorite of the 5 on the Ice Wine Tour, but still very good — 11 years ago
Really very delicious ice wine. Sweet, but still light — 11 years ago
Good ice wine, I believe it was a single gold medal winner. The alcohol is just slightly detectable but it has a smooth texture and very fruity notes. — 8 years ago
Great wine for dark chocolates. — 9 years ago
Second best ice wine after their red sparkling ice wine — 9 years ago
Sweet, rich nose full of peach, pineapple, apricot and a hint of spice. Smooth, full and sweet on the palate. Sweet, thick, stone fruit and honey flavors are balanced by enough acidity to keep this ice wine from being too cloying. The finish is long and smooth and sweet. — 10 years ago
Very sweet! A little goes a long way. — 10 years ago
Very good ice wine not too sweet — 10 years ago
Beautiful and sweet. Smooth honey flavor. 2006 was a good year for Ice Wine. — 11 years ago

The purest a Vidal can get. Primary aromas of apricot, but the age allowed for some nice caramel complexities to show up. Rich on the palate with strong honey tones and a touch of citrus hiding in the back. Really lingers too, and paired well with a salted caramel cheesecake. — 7 years ago
