The first thing that strikes, being the most striking thing, is the almost water-like clear and completely see through color of this Marsanne. Yellow and white flower nose. On the palate, lychee and peach, pear, honeysuckle, orange and nectarine entertain, but all of this, mind you, with a vicious acidity. Like a NASCAR crash for people that watch NASCAR for the crashes. — 9 years ago

Awesome. Like licking a rock then biting a crisp green apple and ripe pear. The bubbles are vicious at first but settle quickly — 9 years ago
Smell like apricot and nectarine. So vicious and lush but every ounce of sweetness is supported by flavor or acidity. Peach skin. Fucking delicious. — 9 years ago
Very interesting. Light weight on the tongue (not vicious) but Strong and full flavored — 9 years ago
Holy mother of 2009s?!? This was one of those...that vicious cycle where each sip offers more, so you go back for more to figure it out...and then you find more...and then you get to the end waaaaay too fast...and then you can't go back for more !!!!! (Gripes of the fortunate.) — 10 years ago
Slightly muted bouquet but the palate is alive. Deep and vicious with honey, beeswax and chrysthamum tea. Mentality and acidity are still kicking! — 10 years ago
Vicious, lots of petroleum, but maintains its balance of sweet, acidity and great mouth feel. — 12 years ago
Has a sour candy property. Some vicious to it. Better with air exposure. — 9 years ago

Really nice bottle of wine. For me the thing that stands out is that it is so drinkable right now. There is some vicious legs on this puppy and I am going to stash a few bottles in the cellar to see what a little age would do. Great pick @Todd Abrams — 9 years ago
Easy everyday drinker — 9 years ago
Delightful. Thick and vicious this holds well to anything you throw at it. Pasta , check. Meat? Check. Thai? Ok not everything... — 10 years ago
I hope this finally cures the vicious cold I've had... — 10 years ago
Put your big boy pants on. At 15.1% he will knock your teeth in, after the vicious blue fruits paint them first. — 11 years ago
