I could not tell if the nose had more plum than blackberry or vice versa. But I can say blueberries won out on the palate. There was some dirty rock as well and a touch of spice that lingered for a while. Overall average to me. It did have some nice touches, may have better with food. — 9 years ago

Walt always puts out solid pinots and this one is my vice. The sweet fruit notes on the nose and the blueberry and velvet like elixir on the palate is just a winning combination. Bubbles from Belgium! Light hint of green apples in this sparkling Chardonnay. Good apertif or a companion for something powerful - be it cheese, or might I suggest an awesome Belgium Chocolate.
