Mucho mejor de lo esperado, buen balance de fruta seca y madera, vainilla. — 7 months ago

had this years ago and i feel like they've made some great strides: Monastrell from Yecla can be flabby fruit bombs, but this is a legit wine, great old vine material, had some of the secondary aromas & flavors from southern France, some of that feral quality, some iodine, white pepper along with copious amounts of black & red fruit. polished & poised, smooth thru nice finish — 2 months ago
I have always been a fan of the wines from this domain. Now at age 15/16 this wine stands firm! Everything comes together with a nose of red fruit, licorice, leathersoap. The mouthfeeling is silky, cherries you know these big black ones, subtle acidity making you want to drink more but no need as the finish takes you over the minute. Fantastic wine! — 4 months ago
Drinking in 2025. drink now will not materially improve with age. — a month ago
Rich, but not flabby. Blackberry-type fruit with a healthy helping of spice, herbs, and chocolate with some smoky notes. Nicely integrated oak with chewy tannins (the wine is unfiltered) — 2 months ago
Still showing well. Great with the ribs — 8 months ago
For the price, one of my favorites. Sweet, fruity, light body, light acidity — 10 months ago

As a Garnachista, I’m embarrassed to say that this, I think, is my first Garnacha from Sierra de Gredos. I may be late to the party but I showed up. Wonderful ripe Grenache fruit, loads of kirsch, a bit of raspberry. Powdered rock dust minerality. It’s a big boy. I broke my “No 15%” rule in buying this. But the alcohol seems balanced. Really nice flavor density. A surprising whack of tannin in the back half of the palate. Lots of savory flavors to augment the fruit. — 8 hours ago
