This was WOTN before we opened a 2010 Colgin XI! Still fairly young but several described this as being smooth. Dark fruits, soft tannins and no hard edges, unfortunately my last bottle of this particular vintage/vineyard. It can easily age for another 5 years, but I don't know why you would want to given how good it is drinking now. — 11 years ago

This 89, 100 pointer and after Xi drank it went up 30% in price. But this bottle was shy...almost closed for 2 hours plus. I did get that classic HB terroir and pretty sure it was a real but disappointed. — 10 years ago
Refined and elegant. Drinking beautifully now. — 11 years ago
Grenache is wild, suave, hard to manage, full of life, it represent my land, my home. Here it is on the razor's edge, son of the sun it is rich and expressive but never heavy, the perfect balance. A great power, pure energy, the wine remains, peaceful… great length. I know Roussillon wines are great but hear my manager in China say: Wo xi huan Russillon de pu tao jiu! it's always good. — 11 years ago
Focused, vivid and fresh red fruit abound. Strawberry, white raspberry and candied cherry mingle with cinnamon, star anise and subtle coffee aromas. The palette echoes the nose with vibrant acidity and supple grape tannins. — 10 years ago
On the lighter side but very satisfying, quite dry and absolutely delicious. Ordered at Eleven XI. — 13 years ago
