Mild lemon with hints of peach. Medium to full bodied. Yes there's oil, but think relaxing spa day (and not diesel refinery). Brilliant showing for an aged Mosel Spatlese ('93 Auslese of same estate to follow soon). Surely the petrol is coming soon, but right now it's sublime. I'd say drink it if you got it. — 10 years ago

2010. Great textbook example of Aussie Sem. "Prison hooch," my tasting group and I dubbed it: if we went to jail and all we had were a Brita water jug, we'd drop sliced lemons and a fresh rubber band inside... We would have delicious, low alcohol, high acid lemony Sem, or at least a great approximation of it. Fabulous texture here. Like the inside of your mouth got a paraffin wax spa treatment. — 10 years ago
