Consistently delicious and great value in Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc Champagne.
Fresh, reductive, lively on the palate. Green apple, lemon, lime zest, baguette crust, pineapple, white peach, lanolin, cream, perfect chalk & minerality, yellow & white florals, beautiful acidity and rich polished finish that persists.

Lovely :) even though I'd treated it horribly, dragging it all over Thailand with me on a suspension-free truck, after bringing it duty free... — 9 years ago

Amount disgorged: 16,388 bottles in October 2008 - Dosage: 4g/l (No Reserve Wine)
Winery Notes:
"The 1990 Vintage is a blend of 17 different Crus, all classified as Grands and Premiers Crus.
Black grapes make up two thirds of the blend: 56% Pinot Noir, from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne, and 11% Meunier, from the Premiers Crus in the west of the Montagne de Reims.
The blend is completed with 33% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and, to a lesser extent, from the Montagne de Reims." — 3 years ago
Classic champagne. Not too much individual character, but just saying that so you don’t go thinking you’re going to get anything other than a classic champagne that will hold well over what was that 5 days?! Started with energy and verve. Ended with rich opulence. 🥂👌🏼 — 4 years ago
A nice sweet take on a French favourite - uncorking at the end of a long week to toast a sweet finish! Good way to start any evening. — 4 years ago

Another great Weekly Wine Committee in the books, this time hosted by Dan. Format stayed the same (1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert wine) and everything is guessed blind.
100% loved this. Very crisp and yeasty, but a lot of fruit was there, mainly grapefruit. I guessed French champagne correctly, but assumed NV as it was so fruit forward. — 7 years ago

Got this at least 5yrs ago. Age served this well. Gold color. Brioche with a toasty finish. Lost some acidity and zip, but easy drinking. — 3 years ago
