Solid example of Schiava (Vernatsch) from a quality cooperative in Alto Adige. Slightly chilled, fresh, red fruits, nice acidic structure yet perky and soft on the palate. — 7 years ago
Light body, fresh, perfumed, strawberry, almond, violets, high acid, sneaky complexity — 8 years ago
FFF: fruity, friendly, fresh! A good #vernatsch for everyday meals. To drink cold. — 8 years ago
This schiava (trolinger) is amazeballs! Loght but full of flavour and complexity. Gorest berries mingle with darl fruits in a fresh melange. — 8 years ago
everyone goes crazy for the bottling of straight Vernatsch and for the single vineyard St. Magdalener. They are both delicious, but my favorite red red wine from Franz Gojer is the St. Magdalener Classico. The fruit is simply gorgeous and the acid/tannin/alcohol balance is on point. — 8 years ago

The Vernatsch (or Schiava, in Italian) from 110 years old vines, only in steel tanks. Rich of spicy aromas. Delicious!! — 11 years ago
SAVE FOR A NICE SPRING/SUMMER AFTERNOON - Portalis - In cabinet — 6 years ago
Pomegranate, frozen strawberries, cranberry concentrate, rhubarb, white pepper, raspberry tea. Snapping acidity, light medium bodied, juicy texture, minimal crunchy tannin presence, long fruity slightly smoky finish. Aromatic, alpine freshness persists, as evolved as schiava/vernatsch/trollinger gets. — 7 years ago
Drank the 2014 together with lamb patties. Perfect — 7 years ago
Spicy, elegant, clean. If #pinotnoir is a prince, #vernatsch is a princess. You can drink it with almost any food, from fish to meat. Just be careful with the temperature: it has to be cold! — 8 years ago
Cherry nose with sour cherry notes on the palate pretty tart . This wine hums when it's matched with food. Oregano really ignites a perfume of raspberry and candied flower. — 8 years ago
Annata 2013. Un’ottima schiava, profumatissima e beverina. Rosa, ciliegia, fragoline, un vino da bere tutti i giorni ed avere sempre in cantina. — 9 years ago
Wild strawberry, bright cherry and tons of minerals. A touch out of balance with the abv. This needs time to coalesce. But not long. — 9 years ago
Easy and fresh — 10 years ago
Loving Saturdays Giro wine. — 11 years ago

GB really liked it. Looks thin but has a nice body and full taste. — 7 years ago

2011 - Bardolino at its best. You should ought to admire this transparent red color, evocative of great Schiava (Vernatsch) from Südtirol. Salty and tasty, balanced and elegant. — 9 years ago
2011 is light, smooth, mountain honey and wild raspberry and flowers. — 9 years ago
