Tried a sample at a wine tasting bar in store. Very pleasant - not aged in oak which I prefer. — 6 years ago
Clos Saint Marc is a 4.2 acre walled vineyard on a hillside within the 1er Cru Les Vergers on the north border of the appellation overlooking St Aubin and Le Montrachet directly to the north. Olivier Leflaive’s 2010 is stunning. This bottle might even be better than the one I had on Christmas Eve last year. Lime peel, orange blossom, spiced apple, melon rind, oyster shell, and crushed white rock with racy acidity. What a wonderfully delectable pairing with garlic lemon butter scallops. — 7 years ago

May 5, 2020. TTW Core +4, supporting local business during the pandemic. This was a nice surprise. Right bank Bordeaux, 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet. Truffle, dark fruit but not much. Smooth tannins, earthy. Wow, just a really nice wine. — 5 years ago
