Primus Colchagua Valley Carmenere 2010

Shared with the BCs at Luna Rosa stillwater. Really great wine, bold with plums, dark chocolate and black pepper. $22 is a bit steep. — 10 years ago

Reserva Casablanca Valley Merlot 2009

This Merlot gives the sense of melt-in-your-mouth goodness, like a smooth chocolate or the finest of cheeses, and it most likely would go swimmingly with those very items! — 10 years ago

Winemaker's Selection Colchagua Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

Maxwell Burns
9.7

Barn yard, prunes, dried cherries, sweet tobacco, saddle leather and cloves on the nose. The palate has a medium-full body with well structured tannins that last for ever and refreshing acidity. Needed some time in the decanter.

Had herb marinated grilled tritip and grilled potatoes, red cabbage salad and chimmichurry. Great pairing

If I didn't know any better I would think its a Bordeaux.
