Wish I'd have found this a year or two ago. Aged to perfection, and then some. Classic blue fruit Franc, with spice. Just a slight shallow spot mid pallett. — 9 years ago
Let this baby open up and wow! Can't wait for the steak on the grill right now! A little menthol, camphor maybe? Nice smooth tannins. — 10 years ago
They're out of our Henry Estate Veraison ! Oh horrors, what shall we do? No problem! They did have this Henry Estate 2011 Muller-Thurgau. Fruity, slightly sweet. Went nicely with the bluegrass music the band was playing. — 12 years ago
Very nice Bordeaux with a spicy long finish. — 8 years ago
Rose is partial to rose, and this is one of her favorites in the Umpqua Valley. Slightly sweet and floral. — 8 years ago

Thank you Truman's for a great dinner, awesome boutique wine and being great friends! And thank you Jenn for not being a patient in my office! — 11 years ago
As roses go, this one if excellent! Delicate strawberry & plum, slightly sparkling. This is one of Rose's favorites! #umpquavalleyvino #wine #rose — 8 years ago
Wet earth, stewed blueberries, and crushed violets on the nose, sweet plums and brown spices in the middle and a medium length finish, tannins still very firm, very pleasant, probably has another 5-10 years to the top — 9 years ago

Yummy 50% cab Franc, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon 2^ Malbec. Very fruity with a dry finish. — 11 years ago
Huge under the cork, tight and tannic. After 30 min it had opened and mellowed. Soft cranberry nose, tasted of dark berry, hearth, and pepper. Finished dry with a subtle red fruit lingering. — 13 years ago

100% Petit Verdot that drinks well young is not easy. Northstar has done a pretty nice job with their 2013. They source the fruit from their Stone Tree vineyard on Wahluke Slope & Shaw vineyard on Red Mtn.. On the nose, ruby fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, black raspberries & faint strawberries. Smoke, grilled meats, pepper, caramel, mocha, dry herbs and fresh & dry florals. The body and tannins are M-M+. The core of the fruit palate is black currants. Tarry notes, pepper, mocha, caramel, smoke, blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, dry soil, dry crushed rocks powder, dry stems, dry herb notes, spice, leather, violets, dry dark florals with nice acidity. The round finish starts fruity then drys but has very good structure, length, tension & balance. Photos of; their estate Merlot vines, cellar stainless tanks and the estate fruit starting to go through veraison. In the Estate photo, you can see the smoke filling the valley skies from the wild fires in British Columbia. — 8 years ago
