Nice wine, great venue, amazing service — 9 years ago
I was at the winery scoping out the venue for Diana's 30th. The kind waiter switched it out for a Sonoma cab that was not up to snuff. — 9 years ago
Smooth and silky, tannins in check. Dark fruit, concentrated, dialed up, with leather/saddle and a looong finish. Off the hook venue improves score. — 10 years ago

Found this at the Venue. Ordered an entire case to have on hand at home. Balanced representation of the Marlboro region. — 12 years ago
Woo Hoo... First one to post this bottle in Delectable 😁
On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening to enjoy Andris Nelsons conducting the BSO in their first complete performance of Wagner's "Das Rheingold" at this venue, very exciting! We enjoyed "Die Walküre" last summer, so even though they're playing out of sequence, we're blessed to hear it none the less.
Tonight we have a trendy German SB, a very light citrus aroma, racy palate that does not back down, maybe some red current in there? Blind I would be hard pressed to guess as SB. Nice wine to begin the evening. — 8 years ago
Totally great when you are drunk and confused backstage at a European venue — 9 years ago
Excellent venue, wine and company! Great night 🍷 — 9 years ago
An elegant wine that shows its class in a tough vintage. Dried flowers, sweet rich cassis, blacktop. The real star tonight was the venue. About 35 minutes out from my old country farm and located in Kinston, NC is The Chef and the Farmer by Vivian Howard. An amazing farm to table with flair creation in the food graveyard of Eastern NC. Extraordinary apps and entrees, fresh modern but comfortable environs and friendliness from everyone....and I'm confident they have the best wine list for 250 miles. A true destination dining experience. Thank you @DAG for the recommendation and intro. — 9 years ago

One of the best value wines I've come across. Power with elegance. Great acidity and fruit. It is great for seafood, heavy appetizers, sauced dishes or big steaks. When I bought it for my venue the deciding factor was the fact it made me smile. — 10 years ago
Awesome wine, awesome venue.....loving it! — 11 years ago
Et une nouvelle venue dans l'étagère des bouteilles mémorables. Autographiée à #tastecamp en 2011! — 11 years ago
A bottle from when Court picked out her wedding venue. Raisin flavors, almost like port. Delish! — 12 years ago
One of five wines that this venue had to offer. This was quite delicious to share with others on a cold day. — 12 years ago
No more meh chardonnay at this venue, they have bubbles! — 8 years ago
It's so hard to get my head around Amarone with less than 10 years of bottle age, but the venue constrained my options. That said, this seems to be a more straightforward style of the revered Corvina blend. Nothing over-extracted, typical fruit notes of raisin, dried plum, maybe some cassis...in a warm brûlée with baked spice, graphite, and toasty oak and vanilla. The weight is moderate and the mouthfeel elegant. The only missing element versus the great cuvées is a bit of complexity/depth. Indeed, this is more like the best Valpolicella Ripassos I've had, with a touch more phenolic extraction. Call it a super-Valpo. — 8 years ago
Wonderfully complex Château neuf at an equally amazing venue in the Alsace region. Love the presentation they do at Auberge de L'Ill! Currant and of course the licorice root. This 2008 could use another 10 years in the bottle and it could be stellar. — 9 years ago

This was the perfect wine for the venue we were at! — 9 years ago

This is a refreshingly sweet (but not too sweet) wine that is very easy to drink. It works best for me drinking it chilled on a warm day (at the beach after sunset or at a casual outdoor music venue). The vintage that I tried was 2013. — 10 years ago
Mysterious venue, mysterious wine. This Patagonian PN is bolder than its color suggests, fruitier than its origins belie, and pairs wonderfully with most things you throw at it. — 11 years ago
Blackberry and plum. Great venue though — 11 years ago

Tonight we have a Crémant de Bourgogne from Savigny-les-Beaune. Apparently 'Oeil de perdrix' translates as 'eye of the partridge' because of the light rose color of the wine. I get that, but sounds like marketing magic to me. Citrus, raspberry and mineral palate, toast and yeast are well balanced, tasty. — 8 years ago
