Pretty incredible depth and complexity for a dying wine — 8 years ago
Great Chianti. This one needs to stay in the bottle for another 5 years. It is still to tight after being opened three days. Great with pastas and steak. — 9 years ago
Proportion between quality taste and price excellent ! 2,3€ for a premium organic wine ! Maybe I got the promotion but the score it's 10! I love it — 9 years ago
Dreadnought wines. Vento wines class. Great complex nose, nice everyday wine. 50-60% Corvina, 39-40% Rondinella, 3 to 5% Molinaro stop. Barry and flowers on the nose. Full-bodied and soft. tannins and a long finish. — 10 years ago
Montoya 2012 Pinot Noir from Monterey County CA. The joys of finding cheap wine at a great price! This $15 bottle surprised me when served at Al Vento in Mpls. Great raspberry and black cherry with nice finish. I'm going to explore more Monterey County wines. — 10 years ago
Great body. Low tannin. — 12 years ago
Well, after 3 months of keto and having lost a grand total of 54 pounds I’m finally back to drinking wine 🔥 My wife suggested we celebrate by drinking Aaron Pott’s single vineyard Cabernet from the Kicu Ma vineyard in Spring Mountain. Fantastic pick, Babe (@Krystal Vento)
Upon visual analysis the color is deep and rich in its youthfulness. On the nose a lovely perfume of dried potpourri, lavender, plum, clove, graphite, and sweet vanilla. The palate...the palate absolutely blew me away. Incredibly suave and velvety with arguably one of the most plush yet lively mouthfeels I’ve experienced in years. Stewed blueberries, blackberries, and plums with muddled spices. I also detect the inorganic trappings of graphite, along with moist wood shavings. This is truly a sensuous and extravagant wine that is Spring Mountain on full display in all its glory. — 5 years ago

Very Nice and fruitful. — 9 years ago
Tasted this wine in Trastevere within a cellar that had walls built as early as 80BC. Now I will admit, the romance of Roman history may have influenced my rating. But this wine went very well with our suppli. — 10 years ago
2008 Campo al Mare Baia al Vento, Bolgheri Superior — 10 years ago
This is my last bottle of this superb CCR. All sorts of secondary and tertiary scents found on. Gravel, sandstone, roasted herbs, almost a eucalyptus thing, iodine, macerated dark cherry, exotic spice market. Perfectly balanced in the mouth, with great acids and flavors that still seem youthful despite being 8 years old. Great stuff. — 5 years ago
So light yet so flavorful — 6 years ago

This $10 Siciliano Rosato is FANTASTIC. LIGHT, fruity (strawberry is most prominent), perfect acidity. Great with food or solo. Well done. — 8 years ago
Love the fullness and minerality — 9 years ago
I stayed at this vineyard in Siena. Nice tangy cherry, slight vanilla, leather, spice. Acid very present. Can definitely lay down for a few years. — 9 years ago
Direct. Reminiscent of your grandma's Freisa in an utterly charming way. — 10 years ago
16.5/20 (91/100) — 11 years ago
