Superb. Alone. The nose not of champagne but Chablis or even saint Bris or maybe Vatan Sancerre. It has bubbles, but you don't sense them till its in the mouth. Long, penetrating, and dancing in the mouth. Medium in scale, for the record.

Took this home thinking it was 13. Pulled out of the walk in closet stash tonight and popped it open room temp, thinking "oh man - I bet this 11 is long in the tooth." Effing delicious. Flinty gilded like chavignol. Sweet fruit, bracing acids - whether or not Vincent is any relation to André, things be goin well... — 10 years ago
Not normally my thing, but this is one of the best Sancerres I've tasted rivaling Cotat & Vatan. Gorgeous minerality. — 10 years ago

There's Sancerre then there is stuff like this. We import Vatan, so I can't say it's the best SB in the book, but it's certainly one of the best. Rare that I can drink SB. — 11 years ago

Sleek, piercing, and palate caressing. Bright lemon notes with a hint of iron and chalk. Really impressed. And then the experience was diminished when we sampled some Vatan Sancerre after. — 9 years ago
