This is a small batch winery from Salts Spring Island just of the shore of Victoria B.C. It is still a young grape with lots of acidity in front . As it opened up the fruit and soils came through. I would buy again and decant longer. Went well with Steelhead Salmon. — 12 years ago

Very delicious, toasted caramel and rich porter-like flavour. Hard to place what else I'm tasting but this robust ale is unique and a seasonal treat. — 10 years ago
