Great white wine made of Melon de Bourgogne. Bought last year at the winery. They produce some great small cuvees which can be found on many wine lists in fine dining restaurants and I completely get that.
@Peter van den Besselaar thanks for sending me to this excellent wine maker! — 5 years ago
— 7 years ago

@Peter van den Besselaar got it right… glad to take a recommendation 👍 — 4 years ago
Vintage 2014 | Razorsharpe Chenin Blanc with minerality. Not a wine to get acquainted with the grape, it does by no means try to charm you. But for lovers of a Chenin Blanc, it is top! Nice acidity. Pure. | A lot like @Peter van den Besselaar ’s Boudignon from last week. Happy Birthday! 🎂 — 5 years ago
Unwrapping gifts 1/3. Opening unknown bottles is exciting. This petnat was a perfect apéritif. Clean, fresh, and frothy. Made out of Menu Pineau and Romorantin; world-famous in Cheverny. Thanks @Peter van den Besselaar! — 10 years ago
Everything @Peter van den Besselaar said about the 2015 he tasted stands here.
Cherry and almond on the nose, there is maybe a touch of strawberry too. Good palate, not unlike a burgundy one in structure, very strong acid backbone, good width, with a soft mouthfeel but lots of energy, a nice strawberry, cherry note all along, a bit of a spicy tannic thing in mid palate and a very long fruity finish along that acid backbone. While not grand, this is a very nice tasting experience. — 5 years ago

@Peter van den Besselaar might describe this as “frivolous”. — 6 years ago
