Wow, what a treat! This wine naturally develops a layer of flor which is kept on the wine for 14-15 months. Only 1 barrel of this 120 year old vine wine was made. Started off with sour cherry, lavender and the unmistakable smell of motor oil on a driveway. The mouthfeel was dry and minerally, but elegantly so, with a beautiful finish that balanced fruit and tannins. We paired it with steak but this would go well with anything. — 6 years ago
