Estasiato da questa bevuta che mi ha spinto a ricercare maggiori informazioni sull'etichetta in questione che non conoscevo, seppur abbia bevuto più volte il classico Vigna della Congregazione. Leggo quindi "L'Edoardo Valentini dell'Irpinia, solo lui poteva fare un vino così" (Alessio Pietrobattista), e leggo su Tipicamente a firma Paolo De Cristofaro di una sensazione riduttiva-minerale tremendamente affascinante. masciarelli and valentini - the two supreme abruzzo vineries everybody else in the region has to compete with. for a reason i may add!

powerful and yet charming red, nose reminds me slightly of amarone though 2006 here has certainly less oxidative touch and feel than the 2004, fantastic fresh nose, hints of animalic attitude with impressive lenght. always underrated.
