Such a great albariño from DO Rias Baixas. Crispy, explossive, creamy... A lot peach and milky notes. One of my favorites from this appelation! — 11 years ago

Nice, crisp Albariño. #spanishwines #albariño #thisiswhatido — 8 years ago
The Martín Códax Winery was founded in 1986 by a group of winegrowers in Cambados, the capital of the Salnés Valle. All grapes are sourced from their own vineyards. Nice light straw yellow color with aromas of white flesh fruit and floral scents. On the palate apple, peach, pear and lemon zest, some light spice with vivid acidity. The finish displays the minerality on a lingering ending. Crisp and fresh. Very nice! Tasting Sample. — 9 years ago

Albariño from Rìas Baixas DO. Perfect pairing for our salmon tonight. — 11 years ago
cool red from Spain--pretty sure I never had a red from this region before. — 11 years ago
This Albariño shows lemon, lime and lanolin on the nose, with a whiff of apricot. The pale color is that of golden straw, and the palate comes forth with a mighty acidity and a mouthful of green apples, on the tart side. Minerality makes a big play, and the finish is medium-long with a citrus zestiness. — 8 years ago
👃🏻 buena potencia, pera blanca, cítrico pomelo, notas glicéricas notas florales 👄 entrada potente, vibrante, con buena tensión y acidez, buen final con notas amargas. — 9 years ago
I had this last month but failed to review it until now. I am new to Albariños so I do not know how to compare it to others but it has a nice floral and peach aromas. Upon drinking it the acid was in check and there was a soft note of peaches and subtle orange favors. Not sure if this is typical but this was very enjoyable on a warm summer night. #albariño #spain #granbazán — 10 years ago
