Lightly fizzante, orange blossom and green apple. A light delicate but flavorful wine that reminds me of summer picnics. — 6 years ago
Wow an amazing Mexican rose!! Refreshing, body, vineyard around since 1597 — 8 years ago
Loved it. Delish. Complex and well balanced. Fruity presence without really being forward. Full flavor and wonderfully lingering. Imminently drinkable. Drank the 2012 in 2016. — 8 years ago
Our Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is crisp with bright notes of green apple and grapefruit. #NapaValley #VSattui — 10 years ago
When compared side by side with Liparita's less expensive Rutherford Cab release, V Block can be likened to a parent's favorite offspring. Although both wines may share similar genetic material and upbringing, V Block has gained more dimension and self confidence through increased care and attention from infancy. #ridiculous :p — 10 years ago

Fronted by rich explosion of berries, this wine heralds a blissful enthusiasm across your mouth. — 9 years ago
V13. Very good today, great tomorrow! Very nice cedar bouquet, deep blackberry and plum fruit with a spicy and very slight green pepper finish . Wine is really good today , but there is a slight "newness" that will eventually round out. Enjoyable dinner wine. — 10 years ago
A hot area in the south of Portugal so unique for this white varietal — 11 years ago
Enjoyed this 2010 VJB Cab on 5/24/2020. This bottle held up well with nice aroma and balanced tannins. Still has some life remaining on this vintage, but would recommend drinking soon. — 5 years ago
The 1945 La Mission Haut-Brion from the château cellar is transcendental. It is blessed with the most beautiful bouquet you can imagine, effortless and natural, featuring woodland, red-berried fruits, a minerally quality and a faint touch of leafiness; given time to settle, it develops a lovely gamy note. The palate is medium- rather than full-bodied and sublimely balanced, upholding that effortless grace with an elegant, bittersweet, dried orange peel finish. One of the most harmonious wines I have ever consumed. Perfect. Tasted at the La Mission Haut-Brion vertical in London in September 2009. (Neal Martin, Vinous, May 2020)

Coming from an exceptional vintage, the 2005 Viña Tondonia from R. Lopez de Heredia is a compelling blend of Tempranillo (75%), Garnacho (15%), Graciano and Mazuelo (10%), all sourced from their estate vineyards and aged for six years prior to bottling. This sensational wine opens with a bright bouquet of leather, cranberry, orange rind, forest floor and suggestions of black tea. Showing incredible focus and poise, this balanced Rioja is framed around flavors off leather, red cherry, teaberry, Mandarin orange and pipe tobacco that sit alongside brisk minerality, as the wine shows tremendous freshness and length through the long finish. This is an absolute stunning effort from this storied Estate and should continut to drink beautifully for years to come. Drink 2019-2035- 94 — 6 years ago
After finally getting caught up with last weeks posting, its back to our regularly scheduled Friday N/V Rosé Champagnes. My favorite after Krug. Sofia’s is different about every 2-3 weeks. 🤣🥂
My notes are listed many times previously. I’m taking a break from notes for now and going to fully enough my baby bottles 🍼 of 375ml. Ahhhh! — 7 years ago
Almond extract and honey on the nose. In the mouth the honey shines with orange marmalade and a hint of bourbon. This dessert wine matched well with cherry clafoutis. — 8 years ago
Blueberry and spice bouquet. Rich and smooth palate. A great wine for a special occasion. Happy anniversary to us! Thanks Molly! — 8 years ago
