This is an urban boutique winery's showcase wine. It' big and chewy without losing its prettiness. Nose is medium(+) intensity with plum, blackberry, nutmeg, and dry earth. Palate shows sweet, chewy tannins, bright acidity, black fruit, baking spices, dark cocoa powder, and americano coffee. Finish is long and delicious. — 11 years ago
Lot of maracuya and litchi aromas and very crisp acidity. Perfectly fresh for the season. Nicely paired with grouper fish over ratatouille. — 12 years ago
Initial Big upfront with a bold almost harsh explosion of tannins that mellows quickly. ( we did decant this wine) but the second taste ( with lasagna) was softer with a complex changing taste that fades quickly. — 11 years ago

Dried cherry on the nose. Licorice, funkiness/ mushrooms, earthiness, with a finish of black cherries. Smooth and lovely old-world drinking — 11 years ago
