EnRoute established in the RRV in 2007 by the partners of Far Niente. Les Pommiers introduced in May 2009 and reflects a blend of vineyards from Green Valley and upper Middle Reach area of RRV AVA. Complex fruit aromas, cedar and mineral notes. On the palate cherry and cranberry flavors with tobacco and toasty oak, rich structured tannins. Nice mouthfeel, zesty crisp acidity ending with fruit, mineral and oak character. Nice! Tasting Sample. — 6 years ago
Clear cherry color with earthy notes of cherry and blackberry. Moderately high in alcohol (14.1%) which comes through on the palate but excellent with baked salmon. — 6 years ago
Smooth withjust a hint of spice. Perfection — 7 years ago
Deep, dark, rich fruit, boysenberry, plum, slight vanilla, spice. Delicious!!! #JesusWine — 8 years ago
Very good Pinot Noir — 5 years ago
Røde bær, cedertræ, peber, en del garvesyre — 5 years ago
Delicious! Substantially elevated my underwhelming leg of lamb. This Syrah isn’t as gamey as you typically see — more fruit-forward almost like a Cabernet. And (as I always love pointing out) it’s exceptional value for the price. I loved it! — 6 years ago

Another 4th Friday for the books! What a variety this month!
At 24yrs old, it’s incredible how this drinks. Obviously past its prime, but by no means a lost bottle. Had never heard of this vineyard. Butterscotch, salted popcorn kernels, and cornbread note too. Still retaining some nice acidity! — 7 years ago
Very subtle oak, wild raspberry & red cherry notes... Very drinkable & smooth with a complex finish. — 8 years ago

very interesting!
asking around for a recommendation for interesting cheap wine for accompanying a family meal, this red blend was advised.
60% Cabernet sauvignon
30% syrah
5% petit verdot
5% cabarnet franc
1 year in french oak barrels.
15% ABV
strong red 👀
a bit of funk and grass first, followed by cooked black fruit and some ripe red fruit with added black pepper and vanilla👃
full body.
high acidity.
low tannins
silky mix of ripe black and red fruit with tartness and sweet oak spices with some greeness and dirt on the background👄
long pleasent 🎯
intresting and well made.
excelent vfm (59 nis).
at the meal there was a choice of ouscous and rice (separately) with vegetables, chard and beans or salmon with thick and spicy pepper and 🍅 sauce.
the wine got along with them, even with the spicy fish.
but it wasn't a match made in heaven. — 5 years ago
second bottle for me from hyped boutique shvo vineyard.
non kosher and sustainable, supposedly.
12.5% ABV
pale green 👀
pineapple and hinted flint👃
medium minus body.
medium minus acidity.
tropics and lemon with biterness on the side and some hinted funk 👄
light 🎯 with some juicy feeling.
can't say i was amazed but well done with firm balanced structure.
great vfm (75 nis).
had it all day long while vacationing in a hotel with the family.
as the time passed bitterness was felt more and funkness became dryness.
not my fave style sauvignon blanc but still very good.
hope to try the shvo chenin soon. — 6 years ago
Absolutely delicious. Prefect pair for grilled pork, similar to a dryer Zinfandel. Reasonably full bodied but not so big as to demand a big steak. — 7 years ago
As always, a stunner. This is a delight to drink. Balanced, fruity, light on oak. — 8 years ago
