I got notes of pears and cloves. So lightly Spicy. Good body/warmth. Perhaps unorthodox but it paired well with a mild fajita. Will by again, especially at price pint. — 8 years ago
2011 vintage. Excellent. Unorthodox on the nose. Loved it. — 9 years ago
Better than I remember. Happy we picked this up after it being the last bottle of the tasting day in Paso. — 10 years ago
Crisp and fruity yet oaky — 11 years ago
Apples, lime, and honey with a hint of nuttiness. Crisp with nice salinity. M- body, M+ acidity. Unorthodox, yet delicious pairing with pork larb. Purchased at Popina in Brooklyn, NY. — 4 years ago
This wine is bonkers. Do not be put off by the unorthodox purple bottle. Huge floral nose and flavors in addition to other sweetness. I maybe, kind of sort of even got a little wood/charcoal aftertaste. A stunning surprise. — 7 years ago
I appreciate the density of this Sicilian dusky full-bodied rosé, made w Nerello Mascalese on the squeezings of Nero d'Avola, resulting in unorthodox yet tangible rose petal flavors swirling together. — 9 years ago
Big, juicy Syrah from Orion Stang. Great fruit and meatiness balanced with an almost searing streak of acidity that really helps mask the 15.7% alcohol and keeping the wine from being flabby. Awesome stuff! — 9 years ago

Brick pink in colour and cloudy, this stand out from the usual PGs.
Bruised apples, flint, a whiff of exotic.
Rough around the edges, with noticeable tannins and funky acidity. This is fun, juicy, unorthodox yet highly drinkable and with loads of personality & depth.
I love it! — 5 years ago
Highly aromatic and quite a bit crazy with fermented strawberries, a bunch of herbs, cloves & bay leaves, pickled cucumber water. Funky and as unorthodox as it gets but this shows amazing purity on the palate and a great tension between the juicy, spicy acidity and clean fruit. The tannins are soft yet persistent. Wow, this has a beautiful mouthfeel and great length. And shows very nicely now.
A great if funky Pinot! — 6 years ago
Nice wine. Very enjoyable with a weeknight dinner of grilled pork chops and lots of veggies. — 8 years ago
Can only be described as incredibly unique and diverse. 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Gris. Aromatic, but not exquisitely so, merely hints of floral and spice. Initially white fruits grab you on the palate - grapefruit & white peach. Then it takes an unorthodox turn and heads toward rhubarbs and sea brine on the mid palate and lengthy finish. Could venture drinking this with all sorts of dishes. To add to its uniqueness, it is merely 11%. — 9 years ago
Good if unorthodox. Good depth of flavor with a spicy note emerging on the finish. Tasty. — 9 years ago
There is something about this wine that I really liked maybe the unorthodox earthy flavor — 10 years ago
