Fall limited release sake. A wonderful holiday gift from Uni at Sapporo — 7 years ago
This is a great dark sipping ale. I have trouble rating fairly as I was in the mood for a red wine or a lager, but I think had I been in the mood this would have rated much higher — 8 years ago
サンクレメントのoroppasは一時期サッポロが買収していた事もあり、sapporoを逆さまに読んだ名前が付けられてる。現在はベリンジャーが運営してるらしい。バランスが良く美味いが、甘めが難点。 — 8 years ago
Love the citrus. — 9 years ago
Dark chocolate covered coffee beans, nutmeg, gingerbread, hints of brown sugar. Dry but rich, rich but vibrantly effervescent.
If your local TJ's has any left, grab one to drink now & a couple to sit on for a few years!

golden/wit ale brewed with spices. Lots of malt, great effervescence, not too spicy or hoppy. Brewed by Unibroue for Trader Joe's. — 11 years ago
Better than Sapporo. Like the amber of Japanese beers. — 7 years ago
One of our favourites. Apple is the best one. Blueberry pretty good too. Raspberry is less my taste. — 8 years ago
Drank in Tokyo under 10°C . A smooth beer with rich after taste. Good with any food. Love it ! — 8 years ago
"Eau Benite" translates "holy water". Delicate flavours of banana, grapefruit, orange, lemon, clove, and coriander. Similar to a German hefeweizen. — 9 years ago
Just had it in Sapporo, to my surprise that it's better than Balvenie 21 yrs. highly recommended — 9 years ago
Real beer on a muggy night. — 10 years ago
Japanese fruit wine. Very, very sweet. Like strawberry soda. Definitely a dessert wine. Quite tasty! — 10 years ago
Great Belgian-style ales across the board, and I will give a good deal of credit to their proprietary yeast strain, which is not overly spicy, fruity, medicinal, etc but shows all these elements in modest amounts, seems to attenuate pretty fully giving relatively crisp, dry renditions of their styles (though it does sometimes result in borderline over-carbonated, overly foamy beers), and is complemented in this beer by a very subtle but very effective hop profile, which contributes no bitterness but runs seamlessly into the spicy and floral flavors from the fermentation. — 11 years ago
