I cellared it 3 years... Smart boy!)))
Lush, bold, unbridled, solid Malbec, blend of two vineyards: Finca El Oasis& Finca La Palma.
Fermented 26 days at 26-28oC, macerated 15 days, then aged 1 yr in 50% new French and American oak.
Deep dark garnet, bricky ruby rim.
Fleshy nose of black pepper, wet earth, roasted cacao beans, prune, black currant, blueberry pie, ink, saskatoon & violets.
Nearly full bodied, with pleasantly coarse tannins and backbone acidity. Black and red currant, blackthorn, wild cherry, bilberry, blue fig, wooden bark.
Enjoyable knitting finish full of black fruits, oak bark, vanilla.
Perfect nectar to accompany my juicy marble steak. — 8 years ago
Samur goodness from a bucket list producer. Maybe a little young to consume but unbridled finesse from the Loire Valley. — 8 years ago
pure unbridled funk. Animal, earth, mineral. It's all in there. — 9 years ago
Silky smooth with a nice peppery finish. Fragrant bouquet with a solid pallet feel. Truly enjoyable alone or with a hearty protein centric meal. — 9 years ago
Spiced cherries and sous Bois. Beautifully elegant. — 10 years ago
Winner. Just everything I want from this world. Unbridled nose, with Raveneau-like intensity, and after time in the glass, a distilled elegance and leanness that belies the complexity within. Love love — 10 years ago

Zero chill. #atlasofwine beholding nature in one of it's unbridled forms. This raw Cornelissen Nerello Mascalese from Sicily is taking no prisoners. Exhilarating ride. — 7 years ago
Let me be up front, I like you. Okay? I know we just meet and all, but you, you send me to that place, that unidentifiable, that hole, that flushing of the skin, that unknown; pleasure. I know, I know, I know. You are thinking it's just your looks. It's just your perfume. It's aesthetic. It's lust. It's fleeting,. Momentary. A pathetic attempt,. An act of desperation. Let me say, in my defense: I'm not smitten easy. I'm tough, cynical. All brick and mortar. Hard edges and despair. But you, you are the real thing, my dear. I'm sure of it. Just one touch and I'm done, love at first blush. You can do what you like. Go join the rest of the party. But I want you to know: your taste well be on my tongue, your full unbridled attention will be mine, before this night is over. I love you. — 8 years ago
Great tasting wine. Very smooth and easy on the palette. — 9 years ago
Unfiltered an unbridled. Fantastic effort. — 10 years ago
WINEMAKER'S NOTES: Shorter fermentation time allowed us to capture all of the fruit character and reduce the tannins. Small French and American oak barrels to develop the wonderful flavors of rich caramel, vanilla bean, and roasting coffee aromatics. Vibrant color, unbridled berry character and plenty of texture — 10 years ago
Love this. — 12 years ago
Good, but I don't know how to explain the taste. Nice mouth feel. — 7 years ago
Had the 2005 vintage today. Thought that it was likely way passed it's time and am extremely happy that I was wrong. — 8 years ago
2011 vintage. Fruity (red fruits) with good body and unbridled enthusiasm — 8 years ago
Goes wonderfully with everything from Pollo Novello (yummy roasted chicken) to Caserecce con Ragu di Salsiccia (pasta w/housemade spicy sausage)... thoroughly enjoyed our meal! — 8 years ago
Amazing terroir and funk initially. A near-burnt apple bread, orchids, lilies, pine sap, mushrooms, and of course citrus nose. The palate offers creamy pear, eggshell, lemon custard, dried apricot, candied mango, toast and lemon zest, salty yellow plum, underripe strawberry-cherry-star fruit, this champagne has it all, from impeccable texture to unbridled complexity. Pithy, dry finish seals the deal!! #moutard #champagnemoutard #champagne #6cepages — 9 years ago
Luscious red berry fruit. Silky and elegant tannins. Sublime toasty oak. Yummy all around. — 9 years ago
The Von Schubertsche Schlosskellerei Maximin Grünhäuser Herrenberg 2006 offers ample charm. Classic petrol notes give way to dried apricot, pear and clover honey. It’s a lighter style Kabinett to be sure, with some weight that can be attributed to glycerol and sweetness, the rest is pure, racy, unbridled acidity. The sort that ends in a stony embrace, with a dollop of schist, and salinity. AP No. 3 — 9 years ago
so elegant and unbridled — 10 years ago

Young and unbridled. Quite delicious, although really needs some time to come together. Bright fruit characters and a lightness on its feet. Looking forward to this one with some age. — 6 years ago
