Plum and boysenberry fruit, with tea, sassafras and sandalwood notes. Beautiful wine. — 2 months ago
Resolved tannins, and well balanced. However the fruit was just too over the top for me. Think blackberry shake. — 4 months ago
Perfect every time. Sadly, the winery has closed for retirement. — 17 days ago

Took awhile to open up but turned out to be a stunner. Nose of fresh violets with explosive Kirsch, dark raspberry and sandalwood flavors. Mouthfeel is tantalizing, smooth and well balanced. Racy acidity, fine tannins and long finish. Really exceptional for an appellation wine. — 2 months ago
Golden straw color with lemon rind and white flowers on the nose. Light citrus, minerals, modest acidity and a touch of oak. Layered, balanced and wonderfully site-specific. — 3 months ago
Quite rich. Drank it young, it would have been better in a few years. Would buy again to see. — 6 months ago
Tree Kilpatrick
Still very dark for a 15 year old red. Smells like berry-plum sauce and leather. Bit of wet gravel and flint. Flavors are lovely and elevated. Black currants. A hint of cola nut. Licorice drops. This is quite an elegant and lovely red. Could age longer. Beefy but with a velvet glove. — 17 days ago
