One of the Evil Twins from Fossil & Fawn's Ramato stylings with Pinot Gris. This is the "white" above-ground iteration that drinks like lavender & grapefruit skin tisane masqued as Rosé, masqued as clairvoyant pizza wine for a summer evening where anything feels possible! — 9 years ago

excittteeeee! Cherry colored funk. Like the Cocteau Twins song. — 9 years ago
We are drinking this gorgeous, golden-rose fizz on the occasion of the birth of out twins Jack and Tabitha! Effervescent! — 10 years ago
16.5/20 (92/100)

Just showing the twins, but give it a few years and the magic happens! — 10 years ago
Bought at Twins Springs Winery. Really good! April 2014 — 11 years ago
Round 2....very versatile wine as it paired nicely with tacos yesterday and equally as well with burgers tonight. Much more Chard like nose than previous vintages. Still more tame as well, with mild citrus, butter, and honey flavors. Exactly one month till the twins arrive, we hope!!! 😀 — 8 years ago
Wow this will be a fun competition between the 2015 and 2016. Which one will be better? This pair is worlds apart from the twins of 1989 and 1990! — 9 years ago

Quite a different wine to the 2011. It is much younger however. There is sweetness on the attack and marked acidity on the back palate. There are dusty tannins in support, so it should all come together with time. The flavour profile of the 2013 is towards the sweeter end of the spectrum, loosing some of the seductive savoury core of the 2011. The flavours are strongly in the blackberry, black cherry and cassis spectrum, with only a hint of the raspberry from the 2011. Secondary complexity is still a little laking at this stage of its development, with hints of cigar box, liquorice and spice present. Very nice, but really needs more time.
As with the 2011, insanely intense flavours developed, 2-3 after the regular 3hr decant. — 9 years ago
Each week, my 2.5yr old twins have "homework" which requires picking household items that start with a given letter. This week is "I" (there's no "I" in team, or kicking off many household items that would fit in a paper bag and don't melt!). Anywho, It Inspired me to pop this reasonably priced late harvest (Icewine), which Is sweet, refreshing, and even elegant for a very reasonable price. I also included a DVD of Ice Castles - who doesn't love that movie?!?! That and Splendor in the Grass - they get me every. single. time. — 10 years ago

Mother's Day was perfect. And realistic. It meant doing dishes, laundry, and making four beds before 8am. But it also meant having an impromptu dance party with my Mom and my twins in her bathroom before 9am. It was a day devoid of cancer talk, acknowledging the obvious with extra long hugs, but choosing to embrace the moment and be hopeful there will be many more Mothers' Days with my Mom. This Vin Perdu was an excellent ending. Earthy and maybe even smoky vs what I have been drinking (because it's on fiiiyyaaa🔥) Heidi Barrett - need I say more - you know how I feel about her. And PS, if you've ever had it, you would know it's quite possibly the best label ever (a hologram) — 9 years ago

Very nice juice to celebrate the twins' 2nd bday!! — 10 years ago

Celebrating the birth of our twins, Drew and Emma!!! Can't go crazy while helping feed the little ones every 3 hours, but a glass of this is a great change to 4 nights in the hospital.
Classic Matthiasson Napa Red Blend. Definitely give it a little air, but it is somewhat passed its prime in my mind. The nose is the best part, then the finish, but it is starting to run thin and losing fruit and tannins. Still a great wine!
