This is embarrassing - I admit I'm not a big Port fan! But I now realise I adore the Tawny variety! Right that's out of the way, this is seriously good stuff, pronounced, woody, toffeed, caramel, dried fruits and nutty, with the addition of dried figs and raisins coming forth on the palate. Wow, words can not explain how good this is. You just need to try some of these old turley petite's to believe it. This was the first of quite a few older vintages that I have tucked away. Can't wait to enjoy more of these! — 11 years ago

Plum, blackberry, candy apple, fig newtons, and insects on the nose, very soft tannins, nicely balanced heat and acidity. Lingering finish. Nice. — 11 years ago
