Honey dew. Honey suckle. Orange or lime rind. Stinky cheese rind, a tiny bit of sulfur behind the beauty that adds a complexity.

It's hard not to keep coming back to this for 10 bucks. Such exceptional value. A very convincing case for Loureiro as my favorite Vinho Verde grape, even more than Alvarinho. So floral and delicate, white peach, dew, magnolia. So fresh. Anselmo Mendes knows what he's doing. This should be twice the price. — 11 years ago
Thick and sweet like honey, slight hints of cinnamon and clove. — 13 years ago
A lovely blend of key lime and green apple, a touch of honey dew, intensely flavored. A touch of chalk and kernel, the latter mostly aroma. High acid, medium to light body, strong finish initially but clips off. — 9 years ago
This is what's up. Gamay/Pinot which in this case means ACID FUNK. Mountain Dew! — 10 years ago

An elegant Pinot. — 11 years ago
Moss and bramble on the nose. Gives the mental image of morning dew and spring foliage. In the mouth, tart acidity drives this wine with a pleasant herbaceous finish. — 11 years ago
Lovely as ever. Slightly sweet notes alongside hoppy power. — 12 years ago

drink it now! honey, crushed rocks, lychee, honey dew, kiwi, all singing in beautiful harmony, but probably for only a few more years. — 10 years ago
Another anniversary, another bottle of '04 Champagne (not that I'm complaining). A unique Blanc de Blanc that has a color almost reminiscent of Mountain Dew (yes, that yellow). Biscuit dough, green apple, green pears and a flinty minerality greet the nose. Sharp acidity and a strong minerality flash through the palette, followed by candied apple and yeasty dough. The balance seems a bit off, but that doesn't take away from the sheer enjoyment of this Champ. The lingering finish will have you thinking about this wine long after you've sipped. — 10 years ago

Yummy, reminiscent of honey dew without the sweetness. — 11 years ago
Sad that this delicious wine will be Burt Williams' last... 2009 Morning Dew Ranch, Jan's Cuvée Pinot Noir — 13 years ago

Very pale yellow. Nose is expressive with apples, orange blossoms, honey dew melon, and just a blade of lemon grass. It's medium to full bodied with a silky mouthfeel, but it's still zingy and lively as hell. An explosion of tart apples and lemon lollipop command the palate, with mineral and fresh garden herbs. It finishes tart but with a heavy coating that lets the flavors linger. — 8 years ago
