The dryness, tannins & acidity of this wine paired well with braised short ribs. The ribs were accompanied by polenta & salad with Meyer Lemon vinaigrette. Very important pairing note - balancing acidity to cut richness but still give a pleasant mouth - feel. 2006 vintage - Floral notes weren't dominant for us. — 10 years ago

Single vineyard Garnacha was tasting mighty fine, needed about 2 hours to really open up and show its stuff. — 12 years ago
Delicious. Full. Not overly fruity. — 13 years ago
Jan 31, 2018. Top Ten, on the bar list. Easy drinking, Priorat. Would be great everyday wine. Dark fruit, rich earthy wine. Grenache blend. Yum — 8 years ago
Very well-balanced. But I wish it was a bit fuller-bodied. Sort of like how it's cool to see a gymnast standing one footed on the beam, but would be far more impressive to see an Hillary do it.

-UPDATE: this thing opened up really nicely over an hour or so (I was distracted from my drinking, usually it's all gone quicker than that). — 10 years ago

Concentrated fruit with layers of flavors. Soft tannins with structure still present. Spicy with vanilla notes. Love it — 8 years ago
