Medium purple in color; raspberries, blackberries, and lavender on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like tart cherries, strawberry jam, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Nellie doesn't Iike it. I love it. — 6 months ago
I’m not a fan of red wines, but this one was fabulous. It was given to me as a gift, and I had no hangover the next day, and it was very smooth. — 8 months ago

Wonderful fragrance - a bit fruity but nice. November 2018. — 6 years ago
I love this Merlot. Welcome back you wonderful wine to the world that has forgotten you. This is a big merlot with a deep dark color and nose that strongly suggests tar, cigar box and all things hearty!! Long finish, luxurious....brilliant. — 7 years ago

Warning! I am not a huge white wine drinker but the weather in Houston dictates I have something a little more lite and chilled. This wine lacks a powerful nose but I get a lite hint of floral and citrus. On the palate it screams lemon (in a great way) along with some peach and a slight amount of creaminess. A very nicely balanced wine that is not over-oaked or over extracted. Great for a late spring day in H-town. — 8 years ago
Surprisingly complex and dry. Love it. — 9 years ago
Chenin Blanc. Very sophisticated. — 10 years ago
Deep ruby color; smoke, black cherries, and baking spices on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like black plums, blackberry jam, and wet slate with a long finish. Very enjoyable. It's more complex than I expected and great for the price. — 5 months ago
Another Cabo Costco find for about $15. A very nice wine at this price point. Might be cheaper in the USA, I’ll have to check. — 7 months ago
Pale salmon in color; grapefruit, peach, and jasmine on the nose; medium acidity; tastes like strawberries, minerals, and a hint of orange zest with a long finish. It's really light, fruity and floral. I'm really liking this wine. Nellie likes it, too! It's definitely a good buy. — 8 months ago

Favorite Champagne varietal, & when it's from a great producer from GC fruit it really shines. Really solid wine. — 8 years ago
Mahogany color with molasses, caramel, espresso, bittersweet chocolate and subtle baking spice aromas. On the palate it's full bodied, viscous, and very persistent with a supple mouth feel that's beautifully balanced with a penetrating acidity that keep it from being cloying and persistent with very good acidity that keeps it from being cloying and provides balance. It shows very sweet flavors of molasses, honey-dipped figs, dates, caramel, and baking spice nuanced citrus note with a kiss of oxidation that adds to its allure and complexity. Long finish — 8 years ago
I got this on a whim and a college budget for Valentine's Day. Both my partner and I thought it was not too bad for $7-- I liked the notes of citrus balanced by the dryness. If I were making mimosas I would definitely go for this. — 9 years ago

Excellent for the price. Best Kirkland wine. A bit lighter than a more pricey Brunello. — 5 months ago
