This wine was a great surprise, great value for the $13.99 price! A little tropical and earthiness on the nose, but on the palate it really came alive - crisp with a bit of effervescence, good acid and retaining the fruit flavor. Medium bodied. Ever present oak and wood on the palate that's touched up by dark, leafy greens and bramble. Soft in the mouth.
