What a blast in flavour!! The taste lingers long enough to make you want another sip.
The color is deep burgundy.
The legs are slow snd long.

The fruit is still there!
The wine has 20 more years, dark cassis, little smoke and a little roasted meat! — 10 years ago
Light, crisp wine that would be perfect on a hot summer's evening with cheese & crackers or sushi. Well balanced grape/apple taste without tongue shriveling tartness. Would definitely have this again. — 11 years ago
The most refreshing Sauvignon Blanc I've had in a long time! It's perfect for a hot day like today! — 11 years ago
What a surprise, from the farthest back corner of the wine cellar. Too cold unfortunately, cloudy from suspended stuff. Nice dark color with orange edges of course. Still showing some fruit but not the high notes; sweetness in the finish. No off flavors or weirdness. More nose than most wines of any age I've had lately. Bought at Beltramo's for $9, way back when, probably during sabbatical at Stanford 1984. Very nice with burritos from Anna's, a scene sort of like the one at the end of Sideways. A really remarkable wine, worthy of fine dark Swiss chocolate.. — 11 years ago

A a very nice, full-bodied Merlot. — 9 years ago
Trentadue is known for their Alexander Valley reds, but winemaker Miro Tcholakov crafts a lovely Pinot Noir with grapes sourced from Marcucci Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. It showcases pretty floral and cherry notes. Layers of black cherry, spice, and earth envelope the palate. The wine's juicy, cinnamony finish seals the deal. Only eight barrels were made. This is a steal for $28. — 10 years ago

"Odedi"
For my 1500th review here on delectable, here is a great red from Sonoma County.
Deep purple in color with a short purplish rim.
Strong fruity nose of black currants, blackberries, cherries, figs, licorice, cloves, spices, oak, vanilla, cinnamon, coffee, mocha, tobacco, light earth and black pepper.
Full bodied and bold with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with sweet plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, blackberries, blueberries, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices and peppercorn.
Long finish with medium tannins and tart cherries.
This is a very nice Petite Sirah from Alexander Valley. Nicely balanced with nice complexity. Rich and extracted with a great mouth feel.
Could use a couple of years to mature, but I really enjoyed it as is. This is a big boy, with a teeth staining color.
Good by itself or with food like a fatty piece of steak on the grill. Needed 90 minutes to open up properly.
A blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Carignane and Syrah.
14.8% alcohol by volume. — 9 years ago
