'07 vintage. Knockout aromatics. Chunky and chewy, bit of time in the decanter and the haunting perfume raises its beautiful head. Brilliant structure. Classically trained. — 11 years ago
Great with red sauce. Pizza too! — 12 years ago
Smooth rich red. This is on the 'buy again' list! — 13 years ago

1998: Youthful. Broad on the palette, with tannins not far behind. This is the Barolo for CA Cab lovers, with a chewy, dense mouthfeel, yet packed with fruit and tasting brand new, rather than 17 years old. Also poured at Quince for white truffle menu. While not showing the same level of complexity as the 1971 or 1985 at the same meal, it was roundly admired, and preferred by some. — 11 years ago
Completely drinkable; what a pleasure — 11 years ago
It's hard to find a Ro-say to compete with this one! Plump, vibrant and concentrated. — 13 years ago
One of the best vintage I've ever had, mushroom and great fruit. — 11 years ago
High tannins and acidity. Earthy. Needed to be decanted hours before drinking. Lovely pairing with dark chocolate strawberries. — 11 years ago
Hard mentha edge, yet full of classic favors that should develop with time. But quite yum now. — 11 years ago
