Great wine from Italy. — 8 years ago
This wine will be called dessert tonight. An unreal nose of Tart cherries, raspberries and baking spices. On the palate this is like grandmas sugar cookies, a cherry Tart, and maybe a little nutmeg. Very high ABV is nicely offset by nice acidity. A great ending to an Italian feast in NYC. Will need to hit the gym in the morning. — 9 years ago

Excellent value at $20 for an Italian wine from Valpolicella. Very well made with an amazing nose of crushed cherries and mineral laced dusty mocha. #babyamarone #tomassoTB — 12 years ago

During this time of panic and anxiety, I pulled a bottle from a time that brought my wife and I so much joy and laughter. This winery in Sicily at the top of Mount Etna was the best of times. Nerello Mascallese grapes growing 2500 feet above sea level. Cranberry, raspberry, rhubarb, cherry and volcanic brush. — 6 years ago

The new new Dakota Shy Cab and Childish Gambino a la @Anthony Lombardi ...as Todd says, it’s “headbanger boogie good!” — 8 years ago
2011 vintage. At Lima. Giovanni Rosso's first vintage of the classic cru, Vigna Rionda. Medium ruby - lovely shiny wine. On the nose, closed at first - due to its youth - but with air, spectacular. Minty herb, liquorice, sour black cherry, smoke, violets and tar. Very complex. On the palate, silky smooth - high tannin but ripe and luscious. Medium plus alcohol. Full concentration and high acidity. Deep flavours here. This is going to be a blockbuster of a wine with a long future. Spectacular Barolo. Drink 2023-2043 (although, to be fair, drinks really well now). — 10 years ago
Olhaí, @Marlos Silva @Marcio Morelli @Andre Rodrigues ! — 11 years ago

2007. Brought it home from Mendoza. Well aged, smooth, and ready to drink. Some red fruit and few tannins. Malbec has balanced out a lot over the years — 7 years ago
One of the best wines of our Sicily trip. Inexpensive. More new world style than old world, which is odd From Etna. — 8 years ago
