Syrah from Ensenada. 15 months barrel aged red — 9 years ago
Overall, light and bright. Slightly sweet, almost tropical fruit (think: white grape juice-based tropical punch), quickly fades to citrus / more structured middle, and then mild acid over woody/grainy notes. Paired with light Chinese, but would work as an accompaniment to fish, chicken, salad, etc. Likely good alone, too. — 10 years ago

Very nice with wagyu rib-eye and mushroom risotto. — 10 years ago
A really great Temperanillo with lots of character right out of the bottle. Strong berry flavours giving way to chewy leather. Just had to breathe a couple of minutes in the glass and it was ready to go. — 11 years ago

Like a very dry Riesling. But, has a very unique aroma and taste. Would be very good with spicy Asian food. Definitely would buy again. — 8 years ago
