The 2020 Crianza is a 100% Tempranillo from Pesquera del Duero. Aged for 14 months in American oak barrels, it's garnet-red with a purple sheen. The nose offers strawberry, herb, undergrowth and oak aromas. Dry and taut on the palate with finely-grained tannins and a compact profile, this is a flavorful example of a Ribera red. The advantage of the 1.5L bottle. The wine is drinking beautifully. Great maker that let's you move down to Numanthia Termes for value in a large gathering or up to a Numanthia Termanthia for select friends in small gathering. This one threads the needle very nicely. Had the privilege of being the first non Quinta Do Vale Meao persons to have a try of this wine. Probably one of the best Portuguese dry reds still with lots of ageing potential. Appreciated that they combine tradition and technology. Complex and elegant despite its youth. — 7 months ago

This Mexican red wine certainly feels earthy and fruity like other Valle de Guadalupe wines I have had. This wine, though comes from the Italian grape Nebbiolo, doesn’t really have the sharpness (full tannins) most Italian wines have and most often need a food pairing. This wine because it’s light, smooth and almost Zin-like without being overly sweet. — 4 years ago

Nose: fig and Asphalt and earth

Taste: candid walnut up front? plum and berry, very fruit forward in the middle. Finishes spicy! Love the prickling sensation as the berry fades.
