Full bodied, big notes of raspberry and cherry jam but laid over with vinyl, wood ash, toasted coconut, and some cacao bean pods. Very dramatic, great acids, complex nose. Held up well from 2009. Cheers! — 8 years ago
Amazing. Amazing. — 9 years ago
Definitely thought we were opening the Pinot. The intense cherry smell, dark berries and late jammy flavors said the double check the label! We're still glad we opened it. — 9 years ago

As the winemaker stated during a recent #VivinoTasteParty, Musar is Musar. There is a compelling quality to these wines that make them special, Musar has a unique thumbprint. Incredible complexity on the nose, it unfurls slowly revealing layers of ripe plums, figs, cigar box, dried rose petal, spice and marvelous top notes of mint and dark chocolate powder. Medium-bodied, fine, velvety tannins lead into notes of red currant, leather, and rust. It crescendos with a finish of peppercorn, spice and tobacco. — 10 years ago
Zesty! Fruity, bright, nosy. Medium finish. Second bottle we had with John and Chris for Christmas. — 12 years ago

Antoine’s thumbprint on the label says it all. Great story from vineyard to bottle. Medium bodied - lemon oil, light tropical fruit and just enough acid to carry it all through to the finish. — 7 years ago
