Deep red forest fruits, silky smooth tannins and hints of creamy chocolate, dried rosemary, rich, luscious, drinking beautifully after 14 yrs of ageing. 100% Mavrud, a Bulgarian native grape linked to Mourvèdre. #bulgarian #bandol ! — 9 years ago
Smooth, Bruce enjoyed. Moderate price. Turkey creek — 10 years ago
The nose is immense and thick and Port-ish. Raisins, plums, maple syrup and caramel. It's full bodied and the texture is kinda grainy. The mouth has some good acid with flavored of cranberries, plums and raspberries. It has a CLASSY touch of sweetness and not a CRAPPY touch of sweetness. This Merlot is brilliant. 2012 Vintage. — 10 years ago
This was a little gem! Smooth and full of fruity flavour. A really enjoyable wine. — 11 years ago
Artisan producer. Pale red to pink. Warm, rich, leather, onion on nose. Cedar, spice, creamy, beef, warming and smooth. Loved it. — 11 years ago
濃厚だけど後味渋くないので、美味しく飲める人多いはず!私はステーキと合わせたけど、口の中の脂っぽさをスッキリさせてくれる感じ!美味しかった☆ — 11 years ago

My image of Merlot has changed dramatically from the first glass - elegant and smooth with no feelings of the roots of a tree ;) Well done Bulgaria. — 8 years ago
Great Bulgarian wine, very cheap (3-4 €), great value for money. Smells great, fruity, and it tastes the same. Fresh, young, mild, but then again with enough acidity, dry, relatively short aftertaste. My recommendations if you want a decent wine and you're broke! 😎 — 8 years ago

Needs good but amazing with grass fed steak! — 10 years ago
Complex nose of musk, butterscotch, almonds, pineapple, ginger and orange-blossom. Flavors of pineapple, apple and a little bit of oak. Rich and silky smooth. A mass appeal Chardonnay that's better than the mainstream Chard's at the same $9 price point. Vintage 2013 — 10 years ago

One of my favourite Bulgarian wines, this is quite a good year. But his older brother, from 2007 is incomparable. It's the best. — 9 years ago

Nose is big and fruity with plums, cherries and violets. Boat is light but palate is juicy. Flavors of raspberries, tart cherries and a Swiss-cheese twang. Finishes with those plums and cherries from the nose. Great deal for $9. 2013 Vintage. — 10 years ago
Great wine, lovely oak notes, red fruits, nice and dry a little white pepper. Left out for three hours incredible afterwards. — 11 years ago

Golden yellow. There’s a lot of cooked apple on the nose, along with lychee nut, rose pedals, citrus peel, and a hint of Trident gum. Medium bodied with medium acidity and a slightly oily mouthfeel. Flavors of cooked apple, lychee nut, and canned pineapple. Finishes with a touch of heat and long lasting flavors of cooked apples and peppermint. Lively summer thirst quencher! — 8 years ago
