aromas of white flowers, honey suckle, white peach, white tea, tasted like tangerine, medicinal, and mineral. Loved this - very drinkable — 6 years ago
I love this wine as much as shoes. That says a lot. No need to describe the wine. I compared it to Chloe shoes... Happy Easter friends. #shoes #whitewine — 7 years ago
Smokey stone fruits and minerality. Medium plus body, acid and finish. Love the intensity on the palette. — 8 years ago

Lovely spicy wine that got bigger and better over the course of the bottle. Highly recommend to serve with or even after dinner. — 5 years ago
This striking blend of Beaujolais Gamay and Côte d'Or Pinot Noir offers cool scents of black cherry and licorice and a noble rusticity to its very ripe, plush flavors of black raspberry and spices energized by saline minerality and a note of granite. Broad tannins won't prevent early enjoyment. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2018) $25 — 7 years ago
Servi à l'aveugle pour testé le Clos Rougeard. Fruits noirs, épices, le bois est encore présent et se développe avec l'air bien et en a besoin. Texture soyeuse, belle rondeur. — 8 years ago
Clean, mineral and delicious. Thank you. — 9 years ago

Good grief! Earthen spices and angelic red fruit. Words fail but a wine I must drink again...and again... ... — 10 years ago
At first I found this undrinkable because of the manure smell. But after a day being open it’s wonderful. Smoky aroma. Smooth balanced palate that keeps on giving. Charred plums, smoke, tobacco, white pepper, cinnamon, unsweetened cocoa. It’s a Christmas gift that keeps on giving. — 5 years ago
Bright, but quite ripe, red cherry with almond, nice herbaceous notes and light nutmeg. Reductive notes are there, but not overpowering... so a plus for me. YMMV. A little time to breathe helps.
Thanks to 2015, this is delicious now, but there’s enough grip to hold for a couple years.
So, nowadays we’re paying $48 in Dallas for Hautes-Côtes de Nuits... 2015 is a banner year for everyone apparently. — 7 years ago
