Rustic, earthy, dense and jammy. Nose is completely diff from the retro nasal. Had a great convo about what we experienced with this wine. Some said tomato bisque, some said spaghetti, some said cranberry. Either way it’s a beautiful wine that leaves you wondering what the hell is dancing around us. — 7 years ago
Not shy at 15.4% and very "Foley-esque" with tons of creamy vanilla on the nose and palate.
Firmly believing that there's no right or wrong in winemaking (or appreciation) to me it is all about individual preferences. Liking this a lot I'm wondering if it could have been even better with a different approach paired to the colder 2006 growing season?
In a great spot now (11/2015).

Have been wanting to try Leo Steen for awhile. Thanks @Delectable Wine for the #cheninigans recommendation. Wondering what @Pascaline Lepeltier, MS thinks of this one. — 10 years ago
Hold the phone, amazing soul and substance from thee most amazing Piemonte vintage of recent note. This wine, which I just ordered for my store, is like a majestic equine, power under control. Not an audacious bragger, not a cocktail for afternoon drinks. Oh no, selling for under $40, this wine will wow those who consider themselves in the 'know' and for those who don't, it will leave you scratching your head, wondering what all the 'fuss' is about. Love #Barolo ?? But the price of admission is too steep, grab this one for the cellar, you won't be disappointed. #wine #delectable #wiyg #blackandwhite #photography #winelover #hashtags — 10 years ago

Oh god yeah!!! One celebrity who can make wine. Or not!?! This is good. Just wondering who made it?!? $29 / 91pts — 12 years ago
Solid Syrah. Spicy, bacon-y and labishly textured. Thinking the syrah is whole cluster pressed, not a lot of apparent oak. nicely made. New producer. Wondering why it's labelled red wine when it's 92% Syrah... — 12 years ago
Fantastic, brings us back to our days wondering around Lisboa newly engaged!! — 7 years ago

My first ever Chartreuse experience and I'm stuck wondering if I now set the bar way too high for my next time or if it's all magical and I fucked up not getting started sooner.....out of Baller Liter size btl at Xav party bc thats how he rolls. WOW! — 8 years ago
Reddish violet black color with an auburn edge. Nose smells of baked ripe black cherries, creme brûlée, blackened toasted marshmallow. Richly layered and balanced with more baked cherries, burnt sugar, charred plum and slight mocha on the tongue. Mellow and oh so smooth. It's character slowly reveals itself layer by layer, yet leaves a wondering at what exactly that particulate note may be. Truly a complex wine. Their newest vintage of Syrah doesn't even hold a candle compared to this 2012 vintage. — 9 years ago
Looks 10. Aroma 8 taste 17 future 8 very dark ruby color. Depth of color tells a lot about 2009. Dark berries, wood, wet soil, lead. And red berries towards the end. Still rough and has not opened up after the first glass. Fruitier than expected. Medium body with some chewy tannin through the finish. Yummy. Now through 2017. feels like walking through a wood after a rainy fall with my son wondering what will happen next. — 10 years ago
ps. this, the angeli and the pacalet are at the restaurant in the royal library in Copenhagen. wine is kind of silly here. I was handed the list by my dining companions and before I could say "I don't know if I'll be of any use with this book" I was wondering which vintage of C.R. I wanted. Jesus. take it easy, Denmark. leave some for the rest of us. — 11 years ago

Wondering wine with burgers — 8 years ago
Preserved lemon, sea salt, rocks and screaming acid. A lot of complexity in a very defined wine. Almost has a tannic grip to it. Wondering what RS there might be to balance this acid. — 9 years ago
Initially disappointing. It was rough and I was wondering if I got a bad bottle but over quite some time in the glass the character changed significantly and wonderful Bordeaux aromas came to the forefront. A very nice bottle; glad I bought a few — 9 years ago
2008, My best Macon ever! Rich smooth elegant and yummy!!!
This fine Macon was just spectacular, the color is deep gold reflecting its age, the nose is truly an elegant melange of nuts, butter, lime, citrus, grape fruit ant a zest of minerals! The body is complex, rich, smooth, round, concentrated and rewarding, with perfect acidity, the finish leaves you wondering where were you in 2009 when this was released and how come you did not secure your 12 pack ;-).My score 90, drink 2010-2016 — 10 years ago
Very good wine. Wondering where to find it. 2007 vintage. — 10 years ago
My first foray into Bordeaux was with this bottle. Left me wondering what I've been waiting for this long. Fairly well priced too at under $13. — 12 years ago
Christopher Fowler
We bought this one years ago during a trip to St. Pierre and Miquelon. I was kind of wondering if it was just something that the lady at the wine store was pushing or maybe we'd kept it too long or something. But no. It was elegant, just a little tawny around the meniscus, and had lovely tobacco on the palate. And I'll never have it again. 😫 — 7 years ago
