Almost ashamed to say it but this wine really flipped a switch in me to really love wine! Dare I say it's my "epiphany wine?" I do so dare. I know no one else sees this it's my defacto journal anyhow. Plus, it's a good wine year after year and a great intro to quality wine — 12 years ago

Found my old wine journal and decided to start using it again, beginning with this great wine. Aromas of rhubarb, roses, and red fruit, with a wet granite note. Flavors of strawberry, cranberry, more granite, with a very long finish. I wonder if there is Pinot Noir in the blend, because this wine doesn't act like Syrah, but whatever the case may be, it's stunning. — 10 years ago
