One of my favourite reds. Like an old world wine but not too heavy and no distinct tannins that are overpowering. Great with beef. Quail's Gate winery is beautiful - spectacular setting with friendly knowledgeable staff. The restaurant menu and service great. Weather permitting sit outside and "drink" it all in! Chef stopped by our table with fresh picked strawberries still warm from the sun which were delicious - a real table side treat! They also grow their own herbs. This winery is in the Top 10 in the Okanagan for sure! — 12 years ago
