On the nose, ripe lean fruits of; strawberries, cherries, watermelon, tangerine. Citrus blossoms, baguette, chalky minerals and pink florals & rose petals. Strawberries, cherries, watermelon, black raspberries, tangerine with peel, baguette, soft razor sharp palate chalk, sea spray, medium intensity volcanic minerals, near perfect acidity with round, rich beautiful finish. Gold standard for rosé champagne and my go to rosé for the $. Photos of their champagne house, one of their vineyards, cellar A-frame rack to riddle the bottles and branded exterior property wall. Beautiful property! — 9 years ago
Discreet bouqet with red berries and licorice. Long, smooth and elegant. Subdued earthy palate. Excellent mouth feel. Very good shit. — 9 years ago
My go-to house wine. Light and yummy. $9 at my local liquor store. — 10 years ago
2013. Minerally green apples. Very good, as others have said. Benchmark Chardonnay for our house. Available@in the uk from Costco at about £9 a bottle if memory serves correctly. — 10 years ago
West Coast IPA from the East Coast. Surprisingly delicious — 11 years ago
Smoky & syrupy — 11 years ago
From the Wine Rack at Superstore. Delicious and a bargain at around $13. A dry and tasty house wine at our home. — 11 years ago
Mama's Fish House on Maui! What! Unreal view, great seafood, nice clean crisp Chard!!!! Happy happy happy! — 12 years ago
Preferred over the first bottle. — 8 years ago
Actually a semi-dry Chambourcin. Good stuff. Reminds me of a merlot or a Pinot Noir. — 8 years ago
2006 vintage. Look at what I found buried at the bottom of a wine rack at another store with no facing! Very smoky, but in a clean and un-obnoxious sort of way. Lime, dried lemon, birch, blanched almonds, black rocks, dried white flowers. What a great find and good example of dry Riesling! — 9 years ago
A sweeter mild... really good flavors... I'd definitely buy a bottle for the house to share with appreciative friends and company. — 9 years ago
Probably one of the best Shiraz in the Margaret River. — 11 years ago
Someone brought this to a house party back in 2008/9 and we just drank it April 2015. Tastes amazing now!! — 11 years ago
Had to sink a bottle before this little Chianti... Pour down the sink... This is a lovely Chianti it has all the traits of a quality Chianti.... One for the house rack.... The joy it gives me when it hits the back of my throat is only rivalled by some of the worlds greatest sporting moments: Maradona, Woods,Federer,Carberry,Sexton,Tyson, Cluxton and Giggs — 11 years ago

This run of about 13 PHENOMENAL wines I'm posting are from the SQN wine dinner/WNH interview I did at @Shawn R 's house last night. I was like a kid in a candy store on Christmas. What an absolutely EPIC night! Love ya brother!
No, the night didn't end after the SQNs were popped...it was just getting started! I mentioned to Shawn that my wife's favorite white (and definitely my favorite west coast Chardonnay) was this wine and he just casually went to his cellar, popped it, and sat it on the table in front of us! 😂 I always get a lot of lemon cream with Aubert, and prefer this Vineyard over the Larry Hyde & Sons. Almost a cheesecake finish to it, with Graham crackers and whipped cream cheese. — 9 years ago

Had at Sunshine's friends house. Really good. Friend said he got it at West ridge. Couldn't find it there. 😣 — 9 years ago
Cav Sav en Bennelong, Opera House. Se nos fue como agua! — 10 years ago
First had at Bob Bridges' house in June 2015 — 11 years ago
Strangely developed. Not as tight as I expected when I hesitantly opened it as it was the last bottle in the house. A touch of cedar and tobacco. Very supple and soft.. Lacking in fruit intensity. — 11 years ago
Great quoffer, better the 2nd night, smooth tannins, good red berry fruit — 11 years ago
picked this up at the Sail and Anchor bottle shop for around $20 and I won't lie, we were pretty much drawn in by the artwork and quirky blurb on the back, "He said "Decadent aromas of blackcurrants, licorice and spice mingle with notes of rich black coffee." She said "Mouth-watering flavours of blackberry and plum are layered with a soft mocha mid palate to create a smooth, velvety texture with a long, toasty finish." Both said "Enjoy now, or cellar for up to five years"."
Was delicious - fruity and still complex enough for my enjoyment. — 11 years ago
Rush Manbert
Fred is one of my favorite winemakers. This wine is fresh and fruity at ten years old. A very nice Pinot that we drank with rack of lamb. Yum! And thanks to Fred and Judy for leaving it at the Maui house! — 8 years ago
