Leather, figs, pineapple and peppercorn on the nose with (maybe because it's the Italian I was eating) a lingering scent of roasted tomatoes. Soft on the palate - good fruit but unobtrusive to food flavour. Perfect paring with pasta (sans red meat) and seafood. Delicious! — 7 years ago
Drinks well. A little light in paring with steaks — 8 years ago
Possible one of the fatiest portuguese wines to taste great with some starters or portuguese tapas very easy to drink up and very floral good to just drink or paring with light food — 8 years ago

Great paring with lamb stew. You know It's good when you go for the decanter to pour yourself another glass and it's empty! — 9 years ago
Feels a bit fat at first but there's a lot going on here and the acid eventually shows up. With the right food paring this is a-ok. — 9 years ago
Really nice vouvray. Off-dry. Fantastic paring for seafood. — 9 years ago
I see this wine paring well with cinnamon, even oysters, has a sour acidic finish. Clean ocean smell — 11 years ago
Love it. Very light, dry. Perfect paring for summer salads. Not fruity. — 7 years ago
I'm rating it highly given it's exceptional paring with Lebanese cuisine especially sfeehas and other mezze. By itself still excellent for the price (if you can find it) but reaches the next level with the right food. — 7 years ago
Top notes of lemon and grapefruit, softer less tart finish. Outstanding paring with homemade chicken noodle soup. Very nice wine. — 7 years ago
Caramel, oak, fig, rich berry. Beyond smooth and drinkable right from the start. Amazing paring. Worth every sip — 8 years ago
2013 orange color, not fruity, sense of cinnamon, smoky, even pickel, for the palate, bold dry, like orange peel with a bitter taste, paring with mackerel and yellow potato. The mackerel was cooked perfectly. — 8 years ago
2007 Domaine Phillipe & Vincent Jaboulet Cornas - fat texture, deep purple richness of smoke meats, dried fig, dates and black cherry. Developed nicely over 3 hours. My favorite paring with the Osso Buco tonight. Drink now or hold for another 6 years. Yum! — 8 years ago
A nice Rosé... Nice nose , not too dry, but refreshing — 9 years ago
Since the 2007 vintage, this has been my informal "house red" (informal, because it's not going to be a perfect paring with everything). The 2012 (I have one bottle left) is concentrated, black fruit and minerality, and wonderfully aromatic. This is organically-farmed tannat, cabernet franc, merlot, and Monsieur Bozzi has a few rows of syrah planted as well. The small winery receives its barrels (one-used) from Vega Sicilia in Spain through the consulting oenologist, Stéphane Beuret. — 9 years ago
