A very nice Sauvignon Blanc (2013) from an excellent Sonoma winery owned by the first Mexican family to produce wine in the USA (a great American success story). They have been a wine if choice in several White House dinners. Clean, crisp with a nice floral finish make this excellent with almost any meal - sushi to seafood. Note: if in the Sonoma wine country - don't miss the winery as they are friendly, knowledgable and have some terrible wines - red & white. — 9 years ago

picked this up at the Sail and Anchor bottle shop for around $20 and I won't lie, we were pretty much drawn in by the artwork and quirky blurb on the back, "He said "Decadent aromas of blackcurrants, licorice and spice mingle with notes of rich black coffee." She said "Mouth-watering flavours of blackberry and plum are layered with a soft mocha mid palate to create a smooth, velvety texture with a long, toasty finish." Both said "Enjoy now, or cellar for up to five years"."
