Columbia Valley Merlot 2012

Delicious. I believe grapes are from Seven Hills Vineyard in Walla Walla AVA, though the wine is labeled Columbia Valley. I like that Seven Hills emphasizes healthy soil biology and plants alternate rows of flowers amongst the vineyards as habitat for beneficial insects. — 11 years ago

Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

I spotted a Willamette Valley unicorn in its natural habitat! I see why the people gobble up this allocated gem: brimming with Spring scents from a forest floor, this wine conveys "a thing-ness" of swirling weights, aromatics, and tastes that together tell why we chase after the naiad known as Pinot Noir. — 11 years ago

I love Turley wines. But I have to say I read and receive a lot of wine lit, is this a true dry rose or a sweet zin? I have to think its dry but so you know from an outsiders perspective I think its not so clear.

It's a true, intentional Rose, dry.

Marco De Bartoli

Integer Grillo 2010

Fabien Lainé
9.5

From the Latin, Healthy is the name of these wine, made with native grapes Grillo that are in West Sicily because their habitat acclimated for thousands of years. In order to respect the terroir the De Bartoli family have limited human intervention avoinding any chemical treatment, physical, chemical, mechanical, nor any kind of forcing conventional.
Integer wines do not belong to any category, organic, biodynamic, archaic, or movement of wines real or natural. Bottled non-refrigerated, non-clarified, unfiltered. A wine that pulls in front lively freshness and purity with oxydative notes. 😋👍
